Malaysia: Putrajaya Night Shots

Putra mosque night shotBefore our evening flight back to Manila, we came to visit Putrajaya. No matter how rushed this sidetrip was, the beauty and grandeur was definitely a grande finale to our Malaysia trip.

Putrajaya is the federal administrative capital of Malaysia. In Malay, Putra means "prince" and "jaya" means "victory".

Ron, our high school batchmate living in Kuala Lumpur and our resident tour guide parked in front of the Putra Mosque. We were just a few minutes early before they closed the mosque for the final prayer, but the doorman was somewhat already Ron's acquaintance and we were gladly given a few extra minutes.

Right behind the mosque is a viewing deck to the Seri Wawasan bridge. Its lights of the bridge changes color every few seconds and is well worth a visit at night. The Putrajaya lake provides a scenic reflection.
